Overview
NowCue is designed as a local productivity app. We do not sell personal data, do not use advertising SDKs, and do not require an account.
Information handled by the app
NowCue may store tasks, habits, plans, session records, preferences, and focus protection settings on your device. If you choose to use calendar features, the app reads calendar events to help organize your day. If you use speech input, microphone audio and speech recognition are handled through Apple's system frameworks. If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device.
Widgets, Live Activities, and app groups
NowCue may share limited app data with its widgets and Live Activities so they can show current tasks, sessions, and progress. This information is stored locally in the app's shared container.
Focus protection
If you enable distraction protection, NowCue may use Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity APIs to let you select apps, categories, or websites to limit during focus sessions. These selections are used for the focus feature and are not sold or used for advertising.
Data sharing
We do not operate a backend service for collecting your NowCue content. Data may be processed by Apple system services when you grant access to features such as speech recognition, calendar access, notifications, widgets, Live Activities, or Family Controls.
Data retention and deletion
Data stored by NowCue remains on your device unless you delete it in the app or remove the app from your device. Removing the app deletes locally stored app data according to iOS behavior.
